I’ve been knitting and crocheting since I was about 5 years old. My aunt taught me because she thought it would keep me quiet and occupied for a few minutes. She had no idea what she had done. Before she knew it her string stash was gone. Mom STILL has the lifetime supply of potholders I made way back then.

Right now my favorite thing to make is socks. But sweaters, stuffed animals, just about anything that can be make with string is fair game. At least family always knows what to get me for christmas. I’m like a cat – just give me a new ball of string.

I have done some tatting - in the process of teaching myself. As I get better you will see some of those projects appearing here as well. Also in the process of writing up some of my original patterns in something resembling a "standard format" - not just notes in a notebook. Eventually those will also be making an appearance.
